My First Flight Experience: A Journey from Dhaka to Jashore"
Today, March 18, I experienced my first-ever flight, traveling from Dhaka to Jashore. The day before, I was extremely excited to embrace this new experience—something I had never imagined before. My curious and overactive mind kept asking itself countless questions: Will I be scared when the plane takes off? Will I be able to see people, houses, trees, and everything below once I'm in the air?
On the day of the flight, we arrived at the airport two hours early. I was accompanied by my aunt, uncle, and one of my closest brothers. As we proceeded through the security check, they inspected everything one by one. Since I was at the end of the checking line, I started feeling nervous.
As soon as I stepped forward to cross the security scanner, a red light started blinking, accompanied by an awkward alarm sound. I was shocked—it felt like I had done something terribly wrong. I started sweating for no reason. Some airport staff approached me and held me aside for further checking. They carefully inspected me but found nothing suspicious.
When I attempted to pass through the scanner again, the alarm went off once more. Eventually, they put my bag through the screening machine and discovered that my laptop’s motherboard was causing the issue. They then suggested I remove my belt, which I was using to hold up my loose pants. This moment felt quite funny to me!
After all the security checks, we only had 30 minutes left before our flight. We sat in the airport lounge, praying and waiting. Soon, a car arrived to pick us up, and we boarded it to reach the airplane. Before entering, we took some pictures to capture the memory.
I chose a window seat, thinking I would be able to see everything outside. At first, I could indeed see the city, roads, and houses, but after a short while, everything disappeared into the clouds. The flight was only 30 minutes long, and before I knew it, we had landed at Jashore Airport. It felt as if time had flown by in an instant.
After arriving, we took a car to head back home. That night, we all sat together and shared our travel experiences with one another, reliving every moment of our first flight adventure.
